A nighttime drone strike in Krasnodar Krai damaged residential buildings and cars, but authorities say there were no casualties. The governor of the region confirmed that the attack, which was carried out using Ukrainian UAVs, affected two districts: Slavyansk-na-Kubani and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
In Slavyansk-na-Kubani, debris from one of the drones damaged the roofs of two private homes. Residents report damage, but fortunately no one was hurt. In Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the impact was no less noticeable - windows were knocked out in one of the houses, and a passenger car caught fire from the damage it received. The fire was quickly extinguished thanks to the prompt actions of local services. The damage is material in nature and the region's infrastructure continues to function normally.
"The fire was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties in all incidents. The region's infrastructure facilities are operating normally. In both cases, the heads of municipalities will help restore the damaged property," — the regional governor said, emphasizing that the situation is under complete control.
Shortly before the attack, the Telegram channel "Triangle" warned about drones moving in this direction:
"Slavyansk-na-Kuban. UAV alert from the West";
"Another UAV towards Slavyansk-na-Kuban";
"More UAVs towards Slavyansk-na-Kuban."
According to preliminary data, the target of the attack by Ukrainian drones could have been an oil refinery.
