Yemeni Houthis Launch Missile Attack on Israel

Yemen's Houthis have claimed to have launched a missile attack on an industrial facility in Ramla, Israel. The Houthis reportedly used a ballistic missile that traveled from Yemen to Israel in 15 minutes. A video released showed a fire at the facility, causing widespread media outcry.

Israeli authorities confirmed the missile strike, but said it landed in "open terrain," minimizing potential damage. However, the incident raised alarm bells because several interceptors, including the Hetz and Iron Dome air defense systems, were launched at the missile. According to preliminary reports, none of these systems were able to successfully intercept the missile.

At the same time, judging by the footage from the scene, such damage would hardly have been caused by a ballistic missile strike – it is highly likely that the strike occurred either near the object, or that debris actually fell on its territory.
