South Korea announced the capture of the wreckage of a North Korean military satellite that failed to successfully reach orbit. According to a source, South Korean military experts found and removed fragments of an unsuccessfully launched North Korean missile from the water.

According to data provided by the South Korean authorities, rocket fragments were found in a body of water after an unsuccessful attempt to launch a DPRK military satellite into orbit. The details and location of the missile's discovery have not yet been disclosed.

North Korea, in turn, said that the unsuccessful launch was due to technical problems in the operation of the rocket's engines. The North Korean authorities are confident that the cause of the failure will be quickly identified and eliminated, and in the near future they plan to repeat the launch of the satellite.
