The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle on the barracks of the special police regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Grozny. According to him, as a result of the explosion in the air, four servicemen who were on guard duty were injured. The incident caused a fire, which was quickly extinguished.
Kadyrov emphasized that the fallen drone fragments damaged the roof of the building and knocked out the windows. The injured servicemen received minor injuries and are under medical supervision. In his Telegram channel, he promised a harsh response to this incident and expressed readiness to send 84 thousand volunteers and fighters from Chechnya to the front.
"We are not protecting our republic to allow some drug addicts, shaitans or satanists to implement their sick ideas. We will not leave it like this! And for these 4 wounded alone we will lay down 400 Ukronat members", Kadyrov said.
The incident occurred amid increasing drone attacks in Russia. Similar strikes were previously recorded in other regions, including Taganrog, Kursk, Bryansk, etc. The use of drones has become one of Ukraine's key tactics aimed at striking military infrastructure and putting pressure on Russian forces.
