The Russian Federation is open to negotiations on Ukraine that will have a real impact and result, and has not abandoned the concept of such negotiations. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
She emphasized that Moscow, for its part, did not abandon the concept of a negotiation process, contacts, and meetings aimed at achieving the stated result.
Earlier, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the negotiation process on Ukraine had been paused because the US's attention had shifted to events surrounding Iran.
