The West uses Article 51 of the UN Charter to supply Ukraine with modern weapons

The West uses Article 51 of the UN Charter, adopted by Russia, to supply Ukraine with weapons.

Western countries have found a loophole in the UN Charter in order to freely supply weapons to Ukraine. We are talking about the 51st article of the UN Charter, adopted, including by Russia. In fact, this ensures the possibility of unhindered supply of weapons to Kyiv in unlimited quantities.

According to French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anne-Clair Legendre, neither NATO nor the West is at war with Russia. The current supply of weapons is carried out exclusively for the self-defense of Ukraine, which is provided for by the UN Charter, which was accepted by all countries that are members of the organization.

“We are not at war with Russia. NATO is not at war with Russia. None of our European and American partners are at war with Russia. Deliveries of equipment to a state in self-defense - as provided for in Article 51 of the UN Charter - do not constitute joint participation in hostilities.Legendre said.

It should be noted that the supply of heavy tanks and long-range ammunition GLSDB by the West now poses a serious threat to Russia, however, it is noteworthy that the United States plans to announce the supply of tactical missile weapons to Ukraine in the form of ATACMS missiles.
