Zelenskyy is flying to Washington to negotiate with Trump on the supply of Tomahawk missiles.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the US capital this Friday for talks with Donald Trump, according to Ukrainian government sources and the Financial Times. The visit follows a series of phone conversations between the leaders, where the possibility of selling American Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv was discussed.

The information was confirmed by Financial Times correspondent Christopher Miller, citing three independent sources. The Polish news agency PAP also relied on sources close to Ukrainian officials. A delegation led by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration Andriy Yermak departed for Washington on Monday.

This will be Zelenskyy's third meeting at the White House under Trump. It follows two recent phone calls discussing the delivery of Patriot systems and Tomahawk missiles.

"We talked about the weapons they need... They really need the Patriot, they would really like to have the Tomahawk... We discussed this and so on, we'll see," "Trump told reporters on Sunday on his way to Israel.

The American leader emphasized that the transfer of Tomahawks would be a "new stage of aggression" and that he would first contact Vladimir Putin to warn Russia of the consequences.
