Zelensky denied Lukashenka's statement about intentions to conclude a non-aggression pact

Zelensky denied Lukashenka's information about intentions to conclude a non-aggression pact with Belarus.

After this morning, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced that Ukraine offered Belarus to conclude a non-aggression pact, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky personally issued an official refutation of this information. According to Zelensky, no negotiations were held with Minsk on this matter and urged not to believe the data voiced by Lukashenka.

“Everything that Ukraine officially offers, you hear. We are not going to attack Belarus and have never planned to. There are no such intentions. This is the main signal from the entire Ukrainian people to the Belarusian people. I see that the majority of the population of Belarus, I am sure that the majority of the military of independent Belarus, who are the military of Belarus, they do not want to attack and go by force with weapons against the Ukrainian society.”, - declared Zelensky.

In Belarus, they have not yet reacted to the refutation of this information, however, in Ukraine they have stated that there are no negotiations with Lukashenka at all, since the Ukrainian side did not recognize the election of the Belarusian president in 2020, saying that the elections are illegitimate.
