Military news, December 10, 2025, Avia.pro. On December 9, during a meeting with journalists, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the country's armed forces are actively using several types of domestically produced missiles to strike Russian targets. These include modified Neptune missiles, the Long Neptune, the Palyanytsya drone missile, the Flamingo cruise missile, and the Sapsan ballistic missile, which has only just begun to be used in combat.
Zelenskyy particularly noted the high effectiveness of the Neptune missiles and the fact that strikes are often mistakenly attributed to these missiles, even when other systems are used.
Details about the number of missiles produced and used, as well as specific operations, remain classified to maintain a tactical advantage. As early as 2025, Ukraine repeatedly reported successful tests and limited use of these developments, including long-range modifications with a range of up to a thousand kilometers or more.
