Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Russian forces struck the country's energy infrastructure overnight, using over 450 drones and more than 30 missiles. He wrote this on Telegram.

"The Russian attack on the energy sector is continuing to be mitigated at many critical infrastructure facilities. It's a cynical and calculated attack: more than 450 drones and over thirty missiles against everything that ensures normal life and that the Russians want to deprive us of." Zelensky noted.

According to him, the impact of the strike is being felt in the Kyiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Odesa regions, as well as in the Dnipro region, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, and Kherson regions. Work is underway in Kyiv to restore power and water supplies.
