Zelensky spotted in the frontline region of Donetsk region

The President of Ukraine was spotted 35 kilometers from the positions of the Russian military in Bakhmut.

This afternoon, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the front-line region of the Donetsk region. Despite the fact that fierce battles are taking place in Bakhmut, the Ukrainian leader visited Slovyansk and its environs completely freely and openly, as evidenced by Ukrainian media reports and a photograph of Volodymyr Zelensky at the entrance to Slovyansk.

The purpose of the visit of the Ukrainian leader to Slavyansk is to support the units of the Ukrainian army and foreign mercenaries and volunteers located here. Moreover, Zelensky himself openly demonstrated his presence not only in the front-line area, but also in the area where Russian artillery and aviation could well strike.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian leader had not been seen so close to the front line before. This does not rule out the possibility that this could be a deliberate provocation, probably also in order to request additional weapons from the West.
