Ramenskoye resident Alexander almost became a victim of a drone strike that occurred on Vysokovoltnaya Street on the night of September 7. According to the man, he was saved by the fact that he woke up a few minutes before the explosion. Alexander got out of bed when the first explosion woke him up and literally a moment later shrapnel covered his sleeping area. Thanks to a lucky chance, he remained unharmed, but his apartment was seriously damaged.

As Alexander told SHOT journalists, the drone crashed into an apartment two floors above, but the impact was devastating for his home as well. The drone debris damaged the balcony, which burned out completely, and the apartment itself was littered with debris. Despite the fact that the impact did not hit his apartment directly, the damage to Alexander's one-room apartment was the most significant among the neighbors.

The man, realizing the threat, did not lose his head and immediately ran to warn his neighbors. Together they decided to evacuate themselves before the emergency services arrived. Thanks to prompt actions, it was possible to avoid casualties among the residents. However, Alexander's apartment now requires major repairs, as the impact caused significant damage.
