On Sunday evening, residents of Belgorod reported a series of explosions in the city, presumably caused by a Ukrainian drone attack. According to preliminary reports from local residents, the drones were spotted in the skies over the regional capital and surrounding areas, triggering the activation of air defense systems. No casualties have been reported at the time of publication.
The preliminary target of the attack was the Luch substation, but no official statements have been made on this matter yet.
The Belgorod region remains a high-risk zone due to its proximity to the contact line, where similar incidents occur regularly, causing localized damage to vehicles and buildings.
