Residents of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky encountered a problem during the air raid alarm that sounded on the night of October 11, when a drone attack occurred in the city. As reported by the Rostov Main Telegram channel, residents of a house on Ermakovsky Lane No. 61 tried to take refuge in a basement intended for use as a bomb shelter, but the entrance to the building was closed.
According to eyewitnesses, after the alarm started, they immediately went to the shelter, but the door of the shelter did not give in. The residents found themselves in a difficult situation, not knowing where to turn for help to open the room. One of the eyewitnesses said:
"Luckily, the siren soon stopped and people returned to their apartments."
In the morning, a resident of the building, Tatyana T., contacted the management company with a request to open the basement, however, despite the promises of the management company employees to resolve the issue before lunch, by the evening the situation had not changed.
"I came back from work and saw that the basement was still closed.", — the woman said. She also tried to contact the city administration, but her call, according to the woman, was ignored.
The situation has caused a wide resonance among local residents, who expressed concern about the lack of access to shelter at such a critical moment.
