Crimean residents report explosions amid drone attack

On the night of May 17, 2026, the Lpr 1 Telegram monitoring channel began publishing warnings about a new wave of drone attacks. At 23:56 PM on May 16, the channel reported that the enemy was preparing a mass launch of UAVs off the Nikolaev region. By 23:57 PM, an alert was issued for UAVs from the sea in Sevastopol. At 0:03 AM on May 17, the alert was extended to the Fiolent area of ​​Sevastopol.

Residents of Sevastopol and surrounding areas are advised to take precautions: when the "Attention All" signal sounds, seek shelter in windowless buildings, avoid windows, avoid using vehicles for cover, and avoid hiding under the walls of buildings.
