Residents of the village of Gvardeyskoye in the Simferopol district of Crimea reported a series of loud explosions and the sound of air defense systems on the night of November 9. According to eyewitnesses on local Telegram channels, the explosions were accompanied by flashes in the sky and the roar of engines.

"Explosions are heard, air defense is working, there are flashes in the sky," — residents reported on social media.

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the interception of targets.

There were no casualties or damage on the ground.
