The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of three aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. on November 8.
"1 - over the Moscow region; 1 - over the Kaluga region; 1 - over the Smolensk region" — the department’s report states.
No casualties or damage were reported. Moscow and Kaluga airports had previously implemented the "Carpet" plan. Sources confirmed there were no consequences on the ground. Local residents also reported hearing explosions—these are likely related to air defense activity.
The type of drones used in the attack has not yet been named.
