Residents of the village of Mishutino in the Moscow region reported a powerful explosion on the premises of a local enterprise on the evening of October 10. They reported a thick cloud of white smoke rising into the sky, visible from afar.

Video footage is circulating online showing smoke rapidly spreading over the industrial zone. Eyewitnesses describe the explosion as "loud and low." Some have speculated that the explosion may have occurred on the premises of the Rocket and Space Industry Research Center (RSIC), located in the village, but there is no official confirmation of this theory.

Representatives of emergency services in the Moscow region are not commenting on the details of the incident.
