A new video with the destruction of an Azerbaijani Mi-17 helicopter refutes the version about the use of air defense systems.

During the Azerbaijani-Armenian armed conflict in Karabakh, an Azerbaijani military helicopter Mi-17 was destroyed. According to official data, the rotorcraft was shot down by an anti-aircraft missile system, however, after the publication of another video, it became known that the aircraft was hit by fire from hand-held small arms or from an anti-aircraft gun.

In the video footage presented, you can see that the Mi-17 helicopter is flying with the engine on fire, while the helicopter crew, most likely, tried to land the wrecked car, while the defeat of the helicopter from the same Osa air defense missile system would almost guaranteed to destroy the car in air.

There are no official statements on how exactly the helicopter of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces was shot down, however, it is known that in the conflict, the NKR and Armenia actively used anti-aircraft guns and large-caliber machine guns, while the anti-aircraft missile systems proved to be quite bad.
