Residents of the Moscow region are reporting explosions and repelled drone attacks.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin continues to report the destruction of drones flying toward the capital. He reported on his Telegram channel:

"Four UAVs were shot down by the Ministry of Defense's air defense systems. Emergency services are working at the crash site."

Later, the mayor added:

"Another drone flying towards Moscow has been shot down."

Residents of the Moscow region, who are monitoring the air defense system, are also reporting explosions.

Thus, the total number of drones destroyed on approach to Moscow and in the Moscow region during the ongoing attack has reached 42.

Sobyanin emphasized that emergency services are working at all debris impact sites. There have been no reports of injuries or damage to the ground at this time.

The massive drone attack on the Moscow region is part of a wave of Ukrainian strikes on Russian regions that has been ongoing for four days.
