The first incident occurred at night, when air defense systems on alert shot down a UAV over the Moscow region. Three more attacks followed that morning: at 8:16 a.m., Sobyanin wrote:

"Another drone en route to Moscow has been destroyed. Emergency services are working at the site of the crash."

At 8:28 he confirmed the third case:

"The Ministry of Defense's air defenses shot down a UAV flying toward Moscow. Emergency services are working at the crash site."

The fourth device was intercepted by 8:49:

"Another drone en route to Moscow has been destroyed. Emergency services are working at the site of the crash."

Residents of the Moscow region reported explosions this morning in the region, but no details were provided.

According to Sobyanin, the debris missed residential areas and infrastructure, and there were no casualties. This is part of a series of attempted drone attacks in the Moscow region.
