Air defense systems in the Matveyevo-Kurgan district of the Rostov region destroyed three drones launched from Ukraine. Falling debris damaged several private homes and vehicles, according to regional governor Yuri Slyusar.
According to him, in the village of Matveyev Kurgan, fragments damaged glass, building facades, and roofs of residential buildings, and also hit five cars.
"Three UAVs were destroyed during the air strike. The windows, facades, and roofs of several residential buildings, as well as five cars, were damaged." — Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel.
There are currently no reports of civilian casualties, and authorities are still clarifying the details. The attack occurred on the night of October 9, amid regular airstrikes in border areas.
