Sevastopol, June 4 — Avia.pro. Residents of Sevastopol began reporting loud explosions emanating from the outskirts of the city overnight. According to eyewitnesses on regional social media, detonations were clearly audible in several areas of the city, indicating that the air defense battle was continuing in earnest.
Currently, city officials and the Russian Ministry of Defense have not released any new statements regarding the nature of the latest explosions, or information regarding possible damage to infrastructure or casualties on the ground. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev previously reported that air defense forces and mobile fire teams had already successfully shot down seven enemy drones in the Nakhimovsky District, near the Northern Side and Victory Park. Monitoring channels indicate that the attack is occurring in waves, and the enemy continues to send new groups of drones from the sea.
All emergency response agencies, emergency services, and air defense units in Sevastopol have been placed on high alert. Citizens are urged not to leave safe areas, remain in shelters or windowless rooms, and rely exclusively on verified information from official government sources.
