Infotron IT-180 - French multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle dual-use, developed by «ECA Group».

The unmanned aircraft of the Infotron IT-180 model was originally developed by the French aircraft designers from the company "ECA Group" for use exclusively in the military sphere. This device was supposed to carry out reconnaissance of the surrounding area, and although the functional of the drone was very limited, the low cost and ease of operation of the UAV had to recoup this disadvantage. Nevertheless, at the final stages of development, important changes were made to the design of the unmanned aircraft, which in turn allowed the UAV to be used in the civil sphere, for example, for monitoring the environment, performing search operations, aerial photography of the terrain, etc.

The French unmanned air vehicle differs in comparatively small dimensions, in particular, the design made as a two-screw copter has a diameter of the supporting screws of 1 meter 80 centimeters, while the UAV height is 1 meter 50 centimeters, which makes it easy to transport and operate. Moreover, due to the fact that an unmanned aerial vehicle has the ability to take off and land in a vertical plane, the drone can be used in limited terrain conditions, which also provides it an important advantage.

The power of the UAV is represented by one piston gasoline internal combustion engine, which allows the device to reach a maximum speed of movement in 50 km \ h.

It is very interesting is the drone, but what it is and what it is capable of scouting operations would be interesting to know someone tell me Amen!
