China has 50 times more hackers than the FBI: FBI chief Christopher Wray

The head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Wray, said that China is home to cybercriminals on a scale never seen before. According to him, the number of hackers in China exceeds that of the FBI by 50 times!

"We have been facing the threat from Chinese hackers for many years. The Chinese cyber threat knows no bounds, their hacking program exceeds the combined volume of similar programs in all other major countries in the world. They have stolen more of our personal and corporate data than all other countries combined ," Ray noted.

Chinese hackers operate at the state level, directing their attacks at targets, including corporations and government agencies, around the world. Recent cyberattacks on international companies such as Microsoft and SolarWinds highlight the growing threat from Chinese hackers and show that there is a need to further strengthen efforts to combat these threats.
