Aeroflot lost 15 billion rubles

Aeroflot carried half of the Russian passengers and went into a heavy loss.

The first three months for the company "Aeroflot" became unprofitable. According to IFRS, the net loss reached 15,75 billion rubles. In the company, this is explained by the influence of fuel prices (expenses for it increased by 28 percent), a seasonal factor and an unfavorable change in the exchange rate. According to Aton analysts, one can expect that Aeroflot’s net loss will be 15 billion.

Due to the growth of passenger traffic by 16,2 percent, the company's revenue increased by 23,3 percent, reaching 138 billion. Changes in accounting standards directly related to the recognition of operating leases on the balance sheet had an impact on EBITDA. The company's gross debt EBITDA increased by 21,2 percent, reaching 21,3 billion rubles.

For the first quarter of 2019, Aeroflot carried 12,8 millions of passengers (+ 16,2 percent). That is, the company transported half of all passengers who used the services of Russian airlines in the first three months of this year. This figure was 24,75 million people.

It's disgusting to listen to us oil power and there is no shame for fuel. Strange crush with fuel prices definitely means profitable, but not for us. How long?
