US coalition aircraft violated Syrian airspace 12 times in XNUMX hours

Deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria, Major General Yuri Popov, reported multiple violations of Syrian airspace by aircraft of the international coalition led by the United States. According to his statements, 12 violations were recorded in the Al-Tanf region over the past 15 hours. The intruders include three pairs of F-10 fighters, a pair of Rafale fighters and two pairs of A-XNUMX Thunderbolt attack aircraft.

Popov also noted three incidents related to the uncoordinated use of unmanned aerial vehicles by the coalition, which violates the existing deconfliction protocols established since December 9, 2019.

In addition to air violations, over the past 24 hours in the de-escalation zone in Syria there have been shellings of positions of Syrian government troops. Responsibility for the attacks lies with the terrorist groups Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic Party of Turkestan, both of which are banned in the Russian Federation and recognized as terrorist.
