The results of the work of the airport during this period were analyzed both by its leadership and in the Federal Air Transport Agency. Measures to increase the level of protection of the facility against natural disasters are suggested.

In particular, as one of the measures, it was proposed to build additional protection of the aerodrome in the form of a dam or ditch, given the strategic importance of the airport in the region, where, in the event of the termination of other modes of transport, the airport will be the main connecting point. As additional measures to give the object of autonomy it is suggested to work with the local administration to ensure water supply in the first category and connect the reserve water supply source.

The consequences of the abnormal rain at Sochi airport were eliminated by the forces and means of the enterprise.
