May 14. The European Union is preparing to impose a ban on any flights of European air carriers to Crimea.

According to some unofficial data, the ban on flights to the Crimean peninsula for European airlines should be part of the sanctions imposed against Russia, but EU representatives refused to comment on this situation. The very ban on flights will have an indirect meaning - planes can fly unhindered, but European air traffic controllers will not route through this airspace.

Recall that in April, a similar measure has been introduced, but such a move does not definitively decided.
