France may take part in hostilities if the Ukrainian front is broken through

Information about the possible direct participation of French armed forces in hostilities in Ukraine caused a wide resonance in the world community. According to journalists from the French publication LCI, Paris is considering several scenarios for its possible participation in the Ukrainian conflict, including an option in which the French military could engage in direct clashes with the Russian army in the event of a breakthrough in the Ukrainian defense.

Such a measure, as indicated, can only be considered on the condition that the Ukrainian front collapses and NATO troops find themselves in close proximity to the military of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The LCI presenter emphasized the seriousness of such a step, noting that this could mean the start of a third world war.

In addition, among the measures being considered to support Ukraine from France are assistance in the construction of military factories on Ukrainian territory and the possible deployment of French military personnel in the Odessa area to protect this strategically important population center, including ensuring airspace security.

However, French President Emmanuel Macron’s proposal to introduce NATO troops into Ukraine did not find support among the leaders of the key countries of the alliance. Experts point to the West's understanding that any NATO invasion will be regarded by Moscow as direct involvement in the conflict, which will inevitably lead to serious retaliatory measures.
