Jordan abandoned Chinese drone drone

The Jordanian Air Force "disliked" the Chinese drone drone.

The Air Force of Jordan announced the beginning of a large-scale sale of aircraft, the resource of which is almost worked out. "Warspot", referring to the portal "Flightglobal.com", reports that among the vehicles due to depreciation due to wear and tear, there were very few used Chinese drones.

Total tendered 29 units of equipment. This includes Airbus C-295 military transport aircraft, CASA / IPTN CN-235 and Lockheed C-130B military aircraft, training BAE Systems Hawk, MD Helicopters MD 530 training helicopters. Here are six shock drone Chinese-made Rainbow CH-4B, acquired two years ago.

The likely reason for the sale of UAVs may be dissatisfaction with the command of the Air Force of Jordan, manifested last year in relation to the Chinese drone. The portal does not report what specifically did not suit the Jordanian Air Force, but it was decided not to use the drones, but to sell. According to analysts, this decision was made under US pressure.

The unmanned aerial vehicle Cai Hong 4 (CH-4, "Rainbow-4") is recognized as an analogue of the American MQ-9 Reaper UAV. The wingspan of the aircraft is 18 meters, the maximum take-off weight (the first two modifications) is 1300 kilograms. The drone is being manufactured by the Chinese state corporation CASC.

Two versions of the vehicle are being produced: the reconnaissance drone CH-4А, capable of being in the air up to 30 hours and the reconnaissance-impact CH-4В, carrying up to 350 kilograms of weapons on external sling.
