The Iranian drone turned out to be an extremely powerful adversary for the T-72 tank protected by active armor.

Militants of the Tigray Defense Forces tried once again to attack the positions of government forces, using armored vehicles previously captured from the national army. Nevertheless, it became known that as a result of the impact of the Iranian drone Mohajer-6, the militants' tank was destroyed, even despite its active protection. Moreover, the destruction from just one blow turned out to be so critical that the combat vehicle literally turned into a heap of metal.

The presented photographs show the consequences of an Iranian Mohajer-6 drone hit on a T-72 tank belonging to the Tigray Defense Forces. In addition to the fact that the tower of a heavy armored vehicle was blown off, and this indicates an extremely powerful explosion, the components and assemblies of the tank were scattered within a radius of several tens of meters. According to experts, in fact, the T-72 tank did not have a single chance to survive.

It is known that Mohajer-6 drones appeared in Ethiopia relatively recently, but drones have already successfully proved themselves in the fight against militants who call themselves rebel forces.

It is not known what type of ammunition was used to destroy the T-72 tank. Such strikes by Iranian drones can be very dangerous even for heavy tanks.
