Another of the candidates for US president announced his intention to shoot down Russian planes in Syria.

Chris Christie, in one of his speeches, said that Syria, in essence, is a closed zone in which the NATO Air Force is conducting an operation to destroy armed Islamists belonging to the Islamic State group, and from the very concept it follows that the presence of combat aircraft of other states and countries in these places is unacceptable, as a result of which they should be destroyed.

Officially, Chris Christie announced that if he is elected to the post of President of the United States of America, he will purposefully destroy all non-NATO aircraft in Syria without exception.
