Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus stated that he sees no need to place the country on the territory of Russian air bases.

Currently, in fact the creation of the Russian airbase in Belarus active negotiations and discussions, and, opinions are divided on this issue. However, Belarus is very interested in hosting of the bases of the Russian Air Force, the more it is, on the whole, beneficial effect on the country's defenses and allow to extract more.

It is expected that the final answer on the deployment of Russian air forces on the territory of the Republic of Belarus will become known most likely before the end of this year, and according to experts, Russian planes will most likely be transferred to the country in March-April next year.
