Russian military helicopters spotted over Syria.

A few hours ago, the inhabitants of Syria reported that a massive appearance of Russian combat helicopters was noticed over Syria. The corresponding video was made by local residents. Moreover, it is noteworthy that the helicopters followed a single formation. This may indicate their transfer from one military facility to another, but there are no official statements regarding this.

On the video footage presented, you can see a group of at least six combat helicopters. Judging by the video recording, we can talk about the Mi-8 and Ka-52 helicopters, however, due to the low quality of the video, this cannot be reliably stated. According to Avia.pro sources, judging by the terrain, we can talk about the Syrian region east of the Euphrates, however, the exact location of the helicopters on the video could not be established.

Experts do not exclude that the appearance of Russian Aerospace Forces helicopters in northern Syria may be somehow connected with the Turkish military operation in the region, but so far there are no prerequisites for this.

A little earlier, the Turkish side allegedly announced the withdrawal of the Russian military from bases in northern Syria, in the zone of the Turkish military operation, but the command of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria does not comment on this information.
