The Ministry of Emergency Situations explained the delay of firefighters during the SSJ-100 disaster at Sheremetyevo.

RIA Novosti reports on the statement made by the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Pavel Baryshev about the events at Sheremetyevo Airport on May 5. It states that the additional fire brigade calculations were not immediately passed to the airport after the crash of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger plane due to the fact that the runway was closed.

On June 5, the Interstate Aviation Committee of the government commission presented a report on the investigation of the SSJ-100 disaster. In the near future the document will be published.
