IAC prepared an interim report on the SSJ-100 disaster at Sheremetyevo.

«TASS», referring to a source in aviation circles, reports that the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) has prepared an interim report on the crash of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 on May XNUMX at Sheremetyevo airport.

The interlocutor of the agency said that the document provides an analysis of the state of the airliner, describes the actions of the crew, ground services, rescue and fire brigades. In addition, IAC experts prepared operational safety recommendations.

The interim report by the commission to investigate the causes of the crash should have been submitted no later than the fifth of June, that is, within a period not exceeding thirty days. This is established by annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.

Earlier, on the thirtieth of May, an MAK expert Vladimir Kofman made a statement. It followed that the SSJ-100 crash was due to “rough landings.” Such an expert statement by the airline "Aeroflot" called "premature speculation."

After this incident, the MAC embarked on an official investigation into the leakage of information. The ministry drew attention to the fact that “the statements of individual employees are neither information nor the position of the IAC”. It was also noted that on May 31 neither the IAC nor other persons had reliable information about the causes that led to the catastrophe at Sheremetyevo. This description of the events that took place, as well as the actions carried out by the commission, will be presented only in an official document - a report that will be posted on the IAC website.
