The Russian Caliber cruise missiles were modernized.

Despite the fact that the Russian Caliber cruise missiles are today considered one of the most dangerous weapons available to Russia, the use of these missiles in Syria has nevertheless revealed the weaknesses of these weapons. However, the missiles have been modernized, and today they are significantly superior to those used to attack terrorists in Syria.

According to information provided by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, one of the problems of the Russian Caliber cruise missiles was the long loading time of information about the target, as a result of which the latter could shift, as a result of which the strike might well prove to be ineffective. Nevertheless, thanks to the modernization, the probability that a given target will leave the strike is extremely small.

“And this work to reduce the time for the transfer of target designation is ongoing”, - said Sergei Shoigu.

On the whole, the Russian Caliber cruise missiles have proven themselves perfectly, and, according to some reports, these missiles are supposed to be placed on ground platforms, which will be a response to the US withdrawal from the INF Treaty.
