The first satellite images from the site of the strike on the Ukrainian Patriot air defense systems have appeared.

New satellite images of the Zhuliany airfield, dated May 18, show traces of what may have been missile strikes that took place on May 16. These traces, clearly visible on the concrete parking lot and inside one of the positions of the MIM-104F Patriot PAC-3 anti-aircraft missile system, are funnels with a radius of several tens of meters.

Changes at the airfield became noticeable after comparing the May 18 image with the May 15 image. At the same time, based on the information presented on satellite images, it can be assumed that the craters are the result of hits in the locations of the Patriot air defense systems.

It is worth recalling that on the night of May 15-16, a missile attack was launched on various objects in Kyiv. The video footage, which was previously published by Avia.pro journalists, presumably recorded the moment the missile hit Ukrainian air defense positions.

After carrying out this strike, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Patriot anti-aircraft missile defense systems were destroyed during it. In turn, the American media reported that these air defense systems were damaged, but claim that the damage was quickly repaired right on the spot.
