The Russian military repelled the blow of the Ukrainian MLRS phenomenally.

Russia leaves the Ukrainian military less and less chances to carry out attacks on the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, during another attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use multiple launch rocket systems to strike at Donbass, Russian air defense systems successfully repelled the attack of Ukrainian troops, intercepting at least 8 rockets.

“8 rockets of multiple launch rocket systems were intercepted in the areas of Nikolskoye of the Kharkov region, Stakhanov of the Luhansk People's Republic and Pervomaisk of the Donetsk People's Republic”, - said during a briefing by the RF Ministry of Defense.

The video footage published during the briefing by the Russian Defense Ministry also allegedly captured one of the moments of the successful repulsion of the MLRS strike by the Ukrainian military. Apparently, the Osa, Strela anti-aircraft missile system was used to intercept the missile, or Thor, however, there are no clarifications on this subject from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation so far. Given the capabilities of Russian air defense systems, it is likely that in the near future it will also become known about the possible interception of American Himars MLRS missiles - the latter attacked an object in the Luhansk region this morning. Moreover, GMLRS-ER missiles were used for this, with a range of hitting targets up to 150 kilometers, although such ammunition was not officially transferred to Ukraine.
