Russia will limit the flights of American observation aircraft.

According to the information and news agency Avia.pro, the Russian Ministry of Defense has decided to restrict the flights of American observer aircraft over a number of its airfields. Such measures are a mirror step towards the corresponding decision of the American authorities to exclude Russian military observers from a number of their bases.

It is reported that from 1 January 2018 year, the number of airfields available for US observers will be reduced, however, which military facilities are being discussed, remains unknown for the time being.

It should be clarified that in the middle of 2001, Russia ratified the treaty on the open sky, thereby letting the military observers into their airspace.

How will restrictive measures on the cooperation of the two countries, so far remains unknown.
