The Russian Aerospace Forces decided to use their military aircraft against the American B-2 Spirit for the first time.

A few days ago it became known that the United States, together with other NATO countries, intend to conduct exercises with the involvement of strategic aviation over the North Sea. US Air Force B-2 Spirit strategic bombers will also be involved in military maneuvers. As the editorial board of Avia.pro found out, against the background of such maneuvers, Russia decided for the first time to use its A-50 AWACS aircraft to "intercept" an American "invisible" bomber. In fact, the radio signals of the American B-2 Spirit will be intercepted. This will make it possible to obtain the signatures of the bombers and, by placing them in air defense systems and radar systems, instantly identify these aircraft, opening fire on them in the event of the slightest threat.

According to a number of other assumptions, in addition to tracking the aircraft of the US Air Force, the A-50 aircraft will be assigned the mission of escorting Russian bombers to the US borders, as reported in the material "Telegram" -channel "Operational Line".

Experts note that depending on the area of ​​flights of the American strategic bombers B-2 Spirit, Russia may well test its S-400 and even S-500 complexes on them. This will make it possible to unambiguously determine whether this weapon is capable of fighting "stealth" bombers. Nevertheless, the likelihood that the B-2 Spirit will want to approach the Russian borders is rather small, since the Pentagon is well aware of the serious consequences this can lead to.
