Russia and China are finishing works on the creation of a military transport helicopter.

Recall that the first joint development began in 2014, and as it became known from official sources, the helicopter is created for special use in the mountainous terrain. The helicopter's own weight is slightly less than Mi-26On the basis of which is created by the project, and load-carrying capacity as compared to the world's largest helicopter dropped by 12 tons, amounting 38 tonnes maximum take-off weight.

The power plant is represented by a helicopter engine D-136 11400 power in hp, which began development in 70-ies of the last century in the Soviet Union.

It is expected that by the middle of this year, the process of creating a Russian-Chinese military transport helicopters will be completed, after which will begin its first tests.
