Russians who fled to Georgia are fleeing back to Russia

Citizens who left Russia began to return back because of the situation in Georgia.

Against the backdrop of large-scale protests in Georgia, citizens of the Russian Federation who had previously fled Russia began to evacuate back to Russia. As a result of the situation on the territory of Georgia, huge traffic jams formed for many kilometers on the border with Russia. At the same time, almost exclusively Russian vehicles stand in the queues, as evidenced, among other things, by numerous video frames.

Citizens of the Russian Federation who were previously in Georgia began to leave the territory of a state neighboring Russia after full-scale clashes between radicals and police and special forces began the night before in Tbilisi. The situation on the territory of Georgia itself is still controlled by the authorities, however, obviously, the citizens who had previously left Russia preferred to return because of the calm situation in the Russian Federation.

Accurate information about vehicles of citizens of the Russian Federation located at the border is not yet available. However, it is known that tonight on the border of Georgia and the Russian Federation, the traffic jam reached 2,5 kilometers.

Protests in Georgia continued all night today. At the same time, dozens of victims are known, both among the protesters and radicals, and among the police.
