The militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic managed to destroy two armored personnel carriers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were being transported to the territory of the settlement of Staromaryevka for a subsequent attack on Novaya Maryevka, as previously reported by the news agency Avia.pro. According to reports, during destruction of the pontoon bridge, on it were two armored personnel carriers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were destroyed.

According to sources on the territory of the DPR, the decision to destroy the pontoon ferry in Staromaryevka was made after it became known about the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to transfer armored vehicles to the territory of the captured settlement in order to further advance to the area of ​​the settlements of Novaya Marievka and Telmanovo.

The Ukrainian side does not officially comment on the destruction of armored vehicles in this direction, however, representatives of the OSCE monitoring group confirmed information about the destroyed pontoon ferry.

It should be noted that the situation in the region is very difficult. In particular, according to sources in the militia, a probable breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Telmanovo, as well as Dokuchaevsk, is expected. Moreover, after the concentration of the DPR forces here, the settlement of Telmanovo began to be actively attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine - judging by the strikes, the fire adjustment is carried out from unmanned aerial vehicles.
