The Syrian Ministry of Defense publishes pictures of downed kamikaze UAVs over the province of Hama.

The Ministry of Defense of the Syrian Arab Republic has released photos of unmanned aerial vehicles that were destroyed in the sky over the province of Hama. According to information from the military, the terrorists planned to carry out an attack using these drones on the positions of government troops, as well as on settlements where civilians live.

However, there is a version that the main target of the terrorists was the military airfield of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation, located in Latakia. This airfield has already become a target for militants in the past.

As noted, in July 2023, the Syrian air defense successfully intercepted similar terrorist drones aimed at destroying Russian military facilities at the Khmeimim airfield in the province of Latakia.
