In addition to the 16 M142 Himars multiple launch rocket systems already sent to Ukraine, 3 M270 MLRS units and 6 more M270 MLRS units that are being prepared for shipment, the Ukrainian military will receive at least 25-30 more systems of this type from the United States, which will increase the number of such weapons in the Armed Forces of Ukraine up to 50-60 installations. This was announced by the head of the Armed Forces Committee of the US House of Representatives, Adam Smith.

According to Smith, the United States cannot yet name the exact number of M142 Himars and M270 MLRS systems that will be transferred to Ukraine, however, from the statement of the head of the US House Armed Forces Committee, it follows that deliveries will continue.

“We are ready to provide Ukraine with as many HIMARS units as we can. It is not a fact that we have 50 such installations in our arsenal. I think now the goal is to reach the number of 25-30 rocket launchers. This will be a combination of HIMARS and several MLRS systems from the UK and elsewhere. We will try to provide as much as we can. But 50 or 60 installations will be difficult to assemble and provide, but we want to reach the figure of 25 or 30 and provide as many artillery and rockets as possible for these systems., - said the head of the Committee of the armed forces of the US House of Representatives, Adam Smith.

In fact, the United States is considering the possibility of increasing the number of M142 and M270 systems sent to Ukraine by 2,5-3 times, which, in theory, will allow at least 300 missiles to simultaneously strike, which is a very serious threat.
