Turkey announced the supply of a new batch of Bayraktar TB2 to Ukraine

A new batch of Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming days.

Turkey has officially announced that it is preparing to supply Ukraine with its Bayraktar TB2 strike and reconnaissance drones, which will be handed over to the Ukrainian military in the coming days. As it turned out, we are talking about a small batch of drones. However, the statement by the Turkish side runs counter to Ankara's recently announced refusal to provide its drones to Kyiv.

As follows from the official statement of the Turkish company Baykar Makina, despite the fact that the Ukrainians collected $15 million in three days to buy three Bayraktar TB2 strike drones, the Turkish manufacturer will provide Ukraine with three drones free of charge. This does not exclude the possibility that Ukraine intends to purchase three more strike drones with the funds raised, thereby making up for the significant losses of these drones.

“Baykar will not accept payment for TB2 and will send 3 UAVs to the Ukrainian front for free... We are touched by this solidarity and determination in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges”, the Turkish company said in a statement.

So far, Ankara has not given any comments on this matter, however, a little earlier, Turkey announced that it would now provide Kyiv with its attack drones with fear, but, apparently, the measures announced by Ankara will not be taken, since today Ukraine's use of Turkish drones is the most effective advertisement for these drones.
