An unexpected attack on the C-400 position at low altitude raised questions.

Flying at low altitude, the F-16 fighter, equipped with a special device for radio suppression of the radar, flew in close proximity to the S-400 systems, trying to turn off the Triumphs or prevent the latter from detecting themselves. Such attacks on Russian air defense systems have never been carried out before - the only exception was attempts to deceive the S-34 complexes with Russian Su-300 fighters, however, given the rather high efficiency of the electronic warfare systems installed on the F-16, the result could be quite unexpected.

At the moment, the Turkish side does not comment on the tests of the Russian S-400s delivered to Turkey, in this connection, experts cannot yet draw conclusions about how the means of electronic suppression could affect the work of the Triumphs. Nevertheless, in the presented video frames, one can see that the flight altitude is much higher than the critical one, and therefore the tested Triumph should have detected the approach of a fighter at a distance of several hundred kilometers.

Nevertheless, the specialists have a different version regarding the fact that the device is assigned to the F-16 fighter. So, according to the arguments of several analysts, it may not be about the electronic suppression device at all, but about suspended sighting and navigation systems, which in turn confirms the previously reported information that the F-4 and F-16 fighters imitated strikes on the positional area S-400.
