The Arsenal of the Air Force of Ukraine was replenished with a MiG-29UB fighter, which was repaired at the Lviv State Aircraft Repair Plant. Information about this appeared in the Ukrainian media with reference to the press service of the plant.

After the repair, the fighter has already conducted test fields and went to the base. It is reported that the fighter was repaired as part of the state order last year, this year the Lviv aircraft plant has no orders, after all the work has been completed, the enterprise risks just getting up.

A combat training fighter with tail number 40 "white" conducted test flights and headed to the tactical aviation brigade of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - is in the message.

Ukrainian Military Pages reports that last year the ranks of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were replenished with four modernized MiG-29 fighters and one rebuilt after the accident.

Along with the MiG-29, the Armed Forces received two L-39M1 UBS, one Su-25, one SU-24MR, one Su-27UB. This year, one MiG-29MU1 was written off, which was damaged as a result of an accident involving a car that rammed the tail part of the plane. According to reports, the fighter cannot be repaired.

At the moment, the MiG-29 is considered the main combat aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the fact that the aircraft fleet is significantly outdated, Ukraine is not able to carry out the necessary modernization of the MiG-29 fighters due to the severance of all economic ties with the Russian Federation.
